Rachel Lau

Rachel Lau is the Chief Investment Officer at RHL Ventures. RHL Ventures is a Southeast Asian-based private investment firm that focuses on growth capital investments in the Southeast Asia and the US region.
Rachel was previously Vice President at Heitman Investment Management in HK and Australia. Rachel helped managed USD$4bn of global long-only and absolute return equity strategies, focused on the APAC region. Prior to this, Rachel worked as an investment analyst with Dutch investment manager, NN Investment Management, which manages USD$225bn.
Rachel serves on the board of directors for GNC Holdings (NYSE: GNC) and as President of the Malaysian Gymnastics Federation. Previously, she served on the Leadership Team of the Hong Kong chapter of Ellevate (formerly 85 Broads); and sits on the Program Committee of EMpower, a global not-for-profit organization that supports at risks youths in developing countries.

In 2018, Rachel was named as 50 People who are Redefining the Way We Live by Business Times Singapore and was selected as Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle.

Rachel graduated from Australian National University with a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction and received a Master of Law from the University of Sydney. In addition, Rachel represented Malaysia in rhythmic gymnastics internationally.
DATO' WAN KAMARUZAMAN WAN AHMAD

Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman serves as an investment committee member at Employees Provident Fund (EPF). Prior to joining EPF, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) between 2013 and 2018, serving one of the largest Malaysian public services pension fund with the total AUM of over RM140 billion. After leaving KWAP, he served as a director of Nomura Islamic Asset Management Malaysia.

He started his career with Malayan Banking Berhad in 1981, in the Treasury Department. This role saw two overseas postings - in Hamburg, Germany as Chief Dealer and in London, United Kingdom as Treasury Manager. After leaving Maybank in 1994, he served as CEO and Director within the Affin Group until 2005. He then briefly served Kemuncak Facilities Management Sdn Bhd and Izoma (M) Sdn Bhd, both as Executive Director of Finance until 2007.
Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman holds a Bachelor of Economics in Analytical Economics (Hons) from the University of Malaya.
KIMO KIM

Kimo extensive experience in corporate venture capital and managing pension funds predominantly in the Southeast Asia region. Kimo has executed investment deals across industries in AI, fintech, and advertising.He started his career as an investment manager at Hanwha Life Co. Ltd in 2013. He was then promoted as the Principal for Hanwha Growth Fund under the Hanwha Asset Management Co.

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and is now a candidate for a Master of Business Administration at the University of Oxford.
