Dato Wan Kamaruzaman Wan Ahmad

Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman serves as an investment committee member at Employees Provident Fund (EPF). Prior to joining EPF, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) between 2013 and 2018, serving one of the largest Malaysian public services pension fund with the total AUM of over RM140 billion. After leaving KWAP, he served as a director of Nomura Islamic Asset Management Malaysia.

Dato' Wan Kamaruzaman started his career with Malayan Banking Berhad in 1981, in the Treasury Department. This role saw two overseas postings - in Hamburg, Germany as Chief Dealer and in London, United Kingdom as Treasury Manager. After leaving Maybank in 1994, he served as CEO and Director  within the Affin Group until 2005. He then briefly served Kemuncak Facilities Management Sdn Bhd and Izoma (M) Sdn Bhd, both as Executive Director of Finance until 2007.


Dato’ Wan Kamaruzaman holds a Bachelor of Economics in Analytical Economics (Hons) from the University of Malaya.

Tengku Sarah Rahayu Bt Tengku Baharuddin

Tengku Sarah is an entrepreneur with endeavours in diverse industries. She has a keen interest in technology driven startups and SMEs. 


Currently, she operates an IT systems integration company at SI3 Corporation. Tengku Sarah is a director of Technotivity, a medicine label solutions provider for the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She has also ventured into the construction industry as a director for KCJ Engineering, a G7 graded construction company in Malaysia. Aside from this, she is a director of Joot Ventures, an online social networking and advertisement company.

She holds Bachelors of Human Sciences from the International Islamic University, Malaysia.

Yuntek Jung

YunTek has served the Hanwha Group for more than 15 years. Currently, he is a team leader managing over 15 Global VC Funds and Direct Investments under Hanwha Asset Management. He was part of the corporate strategy and business development team under Hanwha Life Insurance's Fintech innovation arm previously.

Kimo Kim

Kimo extensive experience in corporate venture capital and managing pension funds predominantly in the Southeast Asia region. Kimo has executed investment deals across industries in AI, fintech, and advertising.

He started his career as an investment manager at Hanwha Life Co. Ltd in 2013. He was then promoted as the Principal for Hanwha Growth Fund under the Hanwha Asset Management Co. 

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and is now a candidate for ​an Master of Business Administration at the University of Oxford.

Syarina Hyzah Zakaria

Syarina is an Associate Director at Iris Capital. She leads and structures investment deals for Iris. Prior to joining Iris Capital, Syarina was an institutional equity sales manager and a research analyst at KAF Equities since 2016. She was a contracts and commercial manager at Samudra Oil Services, a subsidiary of Destini Bhd, and part of its corporate strategy team there. Here, she advised on new business formations as well as commercial deals.


Syarina started her career at Hong Leong Asset Management as an economic analyst in 2010. She then joined The Edge Communication as the writer that specialising in the technology and oil & gas.


She holds a Bachelor of Economics from Kingston University, London.

James Park

James is an Senior Associate at Iris Capital with a vast experience in investments. He is part of the Global Innovation Team at Hanwha Asset Management.


He helps manage four investment funds with an AUM of more than USD100 million in fund size. James has covered varied investment roles in his career largely in private equity, venture capital, credit investment, and mergers & acquisition. 


He holds Bachelor of Science in Business Admnistration at The Ohio State University, US.

Johnson Lee

Johnson is a Senior Associate at Iris Capital. He assists the company's Investment Committee to evaluate and conduct in-depth sectoral research for potential investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Iris Capital, Johnson worked with a consulting firm to advise top-tier institutions and startups on corporate strategy and create new business ventures. This enabled him to use different lenses to evaluate diverse business models and bring ideas to fruition.

Johnson graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in finance and investment, has experience working in corporate finance at a boutique investment firm, as well as financial trading services at Maybank Investment Bank.

Jackson Lee

Jackson is an Associate at Iris Capital. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Queensland, majoring in International Trade and Finance.
